Chinese erotic diary |

| This Chinese diary is purely authentic, as it is devoid of any savor of a stylized art. This, according to the painter, is a look at the market China. These are rather visual sensations than westernized drawings from life. The flickering, lively surface of the sketches, the casual, seemingly brutal, but actually deliberate pattern of every page, the significance of the paper background, the poignancy of every detail, all these attests to the diary’s resemblance to the Zen visual tradition.
