To the Soldiers of Labour

The Soviet empire exists no more, its ideology has gone, the heroic pathos of the industrial myth of the XXth century has vanished, but what have stayed is the people. The paradigm change has turned for the most of them into a deep personal trauma. A feeling of uselessness of themselves and the meaninglessness of existence is characteristic for many of them.

Yuri Shabelnikov's project "To the Soldiers of Labour" presents the attempt to comprehend the situatuion on the existential level and to close the topic.
